Reflection 9

How did you thinking in terms of shots and scenes influence your approach to communicating your design concept?

Using different types of shots such as close up, medium shot and long shot, could support our design concept. For example, using a close up will emphasis the details of the products or specific operation when using the product. It will build empathy and providing the implicit instructions for users. And the scenes create the specific scenario when using product, so it is easy-understanding for users when I need to use this device.

What motivated your choice of storyline structure? Can you think of an example from a film that use the same structure?

The basic structure of the storyline is what, who, when, where, how and why. Although it is a normal style of storytelling, but it is easy to follow and logical.

What choices did you make about audience and style? Were they related?

Our video will focus on the university students and will conduct within a scenario that everyone is familiar with. It will help target users to understand the function of the product easily.
