1. How did thinking in terms of shots and scenes influence your approach to communicating your design concept?
They are useful and important in communicating my design concept. Firstly, making use of different shots can make the story more clear to audience, such as establishing shot can show the overall environment while the close up shot can show the emotion and reaction of the character. Secondly, combination of different shots can make the video more interesting and engaging, such as the over the shoulder shot or tracking shot, it is vivid and dynamic way of telling the story.
2. What motivated your choice of storyline structure? Can you think of an examplear from a film that uses the same structure?
Since our topic is destigmatising mental health, it would be good if we can show the difference between before and after of using our product. An example of that would be the spider man, which is a normal student before but after the accident he become a super hero. I think the contrast of different perspectives can reveal the value of our product.
3. What choices did you make about audience and style? Were they related?
Since our audiences are Uni students. They enjoy a playful, relax, interesting video. We will make the video reflect their daily life with a snappy and fun after effect. Also music with a crisp rhythm can contribute to a better result.
