- What kinds of information and insights did it give you about the usability of the prototype?
It was a good experience as a recorder to observe and write down details about my observation of the ticket purchase process through a website. There are some interesting and useful things reflected by the verbal and non-verbal expression of the user, which can be critical to the usability of the prototype(website). For instance, some parts might need an improvement since users are confused about (keep asking questions) or not comfortable with (frown a lot).
- What aspects of the technique worked well or were frustrating?
It is not easy to capture all of the reflections of a user especially when you doing the observe and record work at the same time, which may cause losing important information of the usability.
