Q1. How did physically acting out help to explore ideas?

Firstly, physically acting helps to define problem directly. When we attempt to create scenarios, rather than hypothesizing it. We will get more specific details about problem. Secondly, we also have some ideas for a issue, physically acting could depend which idea is feasible.

Q2. Did you refine your ideas and solutions to the problem through body storming? In what way?

Yeah, body storming helps to understand users’ needs easily, and judge whether the idea is feasible for this problem. For instance, our group choose sleeping in airplanes, body storming makes us realizing limited space is the most challenge in airplanes. So our idea about changing all seat as sofa bed is not feasible.

Q3. What was difficult or challenging about body-storming?

The difficult about body-storming for me is hard to image myself as a normal user. When I do body-storming, I was used to focus on problem or my ideas, so it is difficult to do the normal reaction in relaxing hypothetical situation. So the result of body-storming may have sone difference with general users’ needs.

Q4. Does body-storming lend itself to certain types of problems?

In my mind, body-storming is a quick way to have a general understanding about the problems. Especially, in group work, it will be more useful than discussion. Group members prefer to use this interesting way, and it will over language difficulty.
