• Describe your experience of creating personas from different users’ perspectives gathered in the interview data. Was there enough commonality between the 4 people interviewed to form a coherent persona? Or did it make more sense to create a second different persona?

In this interview, we chose “Public Transport in Sydney” as the theme, because all group members had some experience in Sydney’s public transport, and we all have a lot of feelings about it. In the process of interview, we found that we have many similar feedbacks on public transport, and it is easy for us to finish a persona. However, the persona still seems unpersuasive because of the shortage of the data.

  • Do you think your final persona(s) was successful in generating empathy with users? What would you change to make it better?

I think we finish a clear persona to help people know how university students think about Sydney’s public transport, but the user group is only limited in university students. Therefore, if there are more people from different group participating in the interview, and more people share their experience in Sydney’s public transport, even make a contrast with public transports in other cities, the outcome would be better and more accurate.
