Describe your experience of creating personas from different users’ perspectives gathered in the interview data. Was there enough commonality between 4 people interviewed to form a coherent persona? Or did it make more sense to create a second different personas?

We have mainly figured out and summarised the frequency, altitude, ability motivation of interviewee and some techniques in specific area. we found two interviews are quite similar to one another. So it was easy to find commonality in this two interviews, but there were many differences when we compared those two interviews to other two interviews. As a result, it was a little bit hard to decide whether the variable is continuum or multiple-choice. And we did find new questions we’ve missed in interview section which were important to analyse users’ behavioural pattern.


Do you think your final persona was successful in generating empathy with users? What would do you change to make it better?

We successfully made a typical persona illustrating users’ frustrations, experiences and behavioural pattern in detail which build empathy in proper way.  However, I think we probably did not pay much attention to users’ background, story or life experience compared to experience in supermarket. The relevance and quality of persona would be improved if we went through to check whether some information is unnecessary or not. And we still need to describe character and behaviour more specifically and completely.
