1.Describe your experience of creating personas from different users’ perspectives gathered in the interview data. Was there enough commonality between the 4 people interviewed to form a coherent persona? Or did it make more sense to create a second different persona?

In our case, there was just enough data to form one main persona that gathered the most shared commonalities. We did do a second one, but I believe just the one was enough for the purpose of the exercise, in relation to the data gathered between the four of us.

At first, it wasn’t very clear for me how this process had to be done. However, once we put down all in paper, all our details and what seem ramdom information, everything started to take one common path.

2.Do you think your final persona(s) was succesful in generating empathy with users? What would you change to make it better?

I think we did create a general persona with enough details to understand the main issues and thinking of the interviewed people. However, I think it’s not enough to get data from four people to start thinking about a solution. I would have gathered much more information from more people to try to broaden these data commonalities. But I understand this cannot be done in a class with limited time for a specific exercise so it was a good example to get the idea of the actual process.
