1.Describe your experience of creating personas from different users’ perspectives gathered in the interview data. Was there enough commonality between the 4 people interviewed to form a coherent persona? Or did it make more sense to create a second different persona?
After interviewed each other, we got 4 detailed interview data. After gathering these data, we found out that 4 people are enough to form a coherent persona. In our group, we find that our data even can form two personas, because each two of us have really similar behaviors. It’s easy to form a coherent persona in our group, because we have similar background and we all need to go to school by catching public transport. So, I consider it may become more difficult when we form a coherent persona in the real case, because we have to gather different interview data from different kinds of interviewers. Secondary, just 4 people in our group, but there will be a large number of interviewers in a real case, and it might become harder to form many coherent personas.
2.Do you think your final persona(s) was successful in generating empathy with users? What would you change to make it better?
I think our final personas have successfully generating empathy with users in a certain extent. But as I mentioned in Question 1, our interview data just generated by 4 people, I think the sample to form a personas is not so representative. I think increase the sample of interviewers to make it more representative.
