1) Describe your experience of creating personas from different users’ perspectives gathered in the interview data. Was there enough commonality between the 4 people interviewed to form a coherent persona? Or did it make more sense to create a second different persona?

Creating personas is similar to affinity diagrams, which is interpreting interview data. Personas is more easy to generate empathy with users because, we are assuming  a concrete person and relate ourselves to his personal experience. 4 people interviewed to form a coherent persona is enough, because even 4 of us are master students, there is one of us have much more frequency of taking busses. It is certain that we need a different persona, due to the motivation difference (Go to school/shopping).

2) Do you think your final persona(s) was successful in generating empathy with users? What would you change to make it better?

Yes, we did successfully create the persona as an student who live around campus and need to use public transport to go to campus, and we all complained the most common issue of busses(No next stop notification). However, there are still many differences among students, I believe more samples will help us to build a persona that is closer to the full experience of using public transport as a student.
