1. How did this exercise help you build empathy with prospective users?The exercise helps me going to the point directly after reading the interview perception including problems, details, interests and needs of the user. So as a first step which is reading the interview i can identify the background  of the user therefore i can build empathy from the user expectations that provides me with more ideas and more understating for the experience to continue with the next steps of the exercise clearly.
  2. How did the clustering of information help you to understand user needs?

    After clustering the information i have more points in the same category according to    the user experience (public transportation, guide, … problems), so especially when we work as a group  we have additional points to focus on it and more main categories to think about. After using different colours of post it notes and going through the deeply content and focussing on the bad and good areas helps understanding more and more the user needs.

  3. What was difficult or challenging with the technique? How would you do it better next time? 

    The challenging part was having a conclusion to place titles for each category and after it the main title for the titles so here it needs more analysing the information we have wrote it as points using the affinity diagramming process in addition trying to group similar themes under one title.

    The next time it will be better since it was the first experience but the next time i will plane to have more arranged ideas and clear needs for the user, besides taking the whole time to read the interview slowly to focus on every single point.
