1. Describe your experience of creating a single persona from different users’ perspectives gathered in the interview data. Was there enough commonality between the 4 people interviewed to form a coherent persona? Or would it have made more sense to create a second different persona?

We chose “going to the supermarket” as our topic. After interview we found everyone is different but may be similar in some item. It is very hard to create a persona on behalf of 4 members in our group. Nevertheless two of us seems to have same behavior in most items, so we choose this to build the persona. I think If the option is divide more exquisite there will be less similarity. It made more sense to create a second different persona because other two members also have something in common, just not as many as the former.

  1. Do you think your final persona was successful in generating empathy with users? What would you change to make it better?

I think our final persona is able to represent one type of people because there are too many people after all. But if we aim to find the common characteristic of a larger population it is not good enough as the sample is to less(4) and special(students). In order to make it better, we need ask more people which have different age, job etc. But if our target customers are special crowd, we could just make a survey in this particular group.
