How did thinking in terms of shots and scenes influence your approach to communicating your design concept?

Thinking in terms of shots and scenes not only brings our thinking into a visual dimension, but also makes us thinks the possibility it might be while engaging with scenarios we built from the design concept. Giving the character identities, thinking about how they going to use the design, what problem they could be facing. Then summarise each piece of data created, thinking what is the best capture to deliver the message of our design to potential users.

What motivated your choice of storyline structure? Can you think of an exemplar from a film that uses the same structure?

The storyline structure is inspired by American comic. Films based on DC Comics or Marvel Comics will make an excellent exemplar in this case.

What choices did you make about audience and style? Were they related?

Yes, our initial concept has higher chance to be accept by people who into Sci-Fi movies or relating comics. In order to bring audiences’ perspective into the story as they are experiencing, dynamic changes of shots and humour factor might create unexpected surprises.
